Beta access requests
When you request beta access we ask for your email address and, optionally, the kind of work you do, a portfolio link, your iPad and Pencil models, and a short message. We also record that you accepted the beta terms and which version. We use this to contact you about the beta and to decide who gets in first. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not sell it or share it with anyone.
Requests are stored in a Google Form and its linked spreadsheet in our Google Workspace account. We keep them for the duration of the beta, then delete them. Ask at any time and we will delete yours sooner.
Launch updates
If you leave your email to hear about the launch, we store it with Resend, the service we use to send those emails. We send occasional news about Upshot and nothing else. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
The website
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. It is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs for a short period. Vercel and Resend are the only services that handle your data on our behalf.
The app
Before the public release we will describe here what the Upshot app itself reports about crashes and usage, and how to turn it off.
